Lebensmittel, die durch Extraktion gewonnenes Cannabidiol (CBD) enthalten, sind "neuartig" im Sinne der Verordnung (EU) 2015/2283 (sog. Novel Food-Verordnung). Ein neuartiges Lebensmittel wird auch dadurch in Verkehr gebracht im Sinne des Art. 2 Abs. 1, 6 Abs. 2 und 3 Abs. 1 Verordnung (EU) 2015/2283 in Verbindung mit Art. 3 Nr. 8 Verordnung (EG) Nr. 178/2002, dass ein (Lohn-)Hersteller die nach den Spezifikationen eines Auftraggebers hergestellten Enderzeugnisse an seinen Auftraggeber abgibt. |

Without prejudice to the information provided in the novel food catalogue for the entry relating to Cannabis sativa L., extracts of Cannabis sativa L. and derived products containing cannabinoids are considered novel foods as a history of consumption has not been demonstrated.
